Our story
Why did we build Accessonix?
“Most websites offer one way to read them. People read the web in many.”
People read the web in very different ways. Some need bigger text or calmer colors. Some use a keyboard instead of a mouse. Some lose their place in long paragraphs. Most websites only offer one way to read them.
Accessonix gives every visitor a simple panel to adjust the page they are on, in their own language, and remembers their choices. Site owners add it with one line of code.
The panel brings many small tools together in one place, so each visitor can pick exactly what helps them.
How we build it
Made with care, tested by hand
Accessibility tools have to be accessible themselves. These are the rules we build by.
Accessible itself
The widget is built to meet WCAG 2.2 AA: keyboard operable, labeled for screen readers, 4.5:1 text contrast.
Tested by hand
Automated checks with axe-core, plus keyboard-only and screen reader passes.
Sealed and small
Runs in its own layer, works with strict security policies and stays around 20 KB compressed.
Teaches the fixes
Plain-English guides help site owners fix issues in their own code too.
